Blists Hill Visit

I hope you have all enjoyed the weekend.

I'm sure the children are looking forward to our class trip on Tuesday. We aim to leave school as close to 8:30am as possible. Children will need to wear their school uniform and bring a light waterproof coat. They will also need a hearty packed lunch and drink. This will need to be in a disposable bag. I appreciate that this is not the most environmentally friendly option, but it will prevent children from having to carry it around during the afternoon when on the fair. All children are keen to buy Victorian style sweets and spend time at the fair. For this, children can bring £3. This will be exchanged for Victorian coins which they can spend at the museum.

Tomorrow I will be sending home a letter with details of an upcoming visit to Chester Cathedral. We are extremely fortunate to be able to take part in the Y5 day they have organised. Please could you send permission slips back to school as soon as possible as the cathedral have requested details of photograph permissions for the day.
