Monday

On Monday, we had worship and then maths where we studied area and perimeter. After break, we started our English; we explored our new model text and looked at new vocabulary. In the afternoon, we had P.E where we developed our cricket skills.

Tuesday

In the morning, we did My Happy Mind and learnt about what builds a healthy friendship. In maths, we carried on with area and perimeter. After break, Mrs Pirie taught us how to use conjunctions correctly. In the afternoon, we completed a SPAG test. From this we learnt what a hyphen was and how to use subordinating clauses and many other things.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, we had an assembly led by our vicar, Reverend Sandy. Afterwards, we went into the class and did some maths, carrying on with perimeter and area and finding the volume of a shape. After break, we had English and found out how to use a relative clause. In the afternoon, we did some revision to prepare for our SATS.

Thursday

In English, we were busy getting ready to plan a balanced argument and in Maths we learnt how to work out how to find the area of a triangle. In the afternoon, we learnt about online safety and we made a poster based on how to keep safe online.

Friday

Today was the day for celebration assembly, and Maxwell got the certificate. In maths, we learnt how to find out the area of a different types of triangles; it was quite tough at first but we got there! After maths, it was lunch and everyone sat down for a rest and some food. In the afternoon, when we had finished our food and our break, we went back into the classroom and composed some art. We focused on the style of the mysterious artist, Banksy, creating stencilled art spelling out different phrases, SAVE OUR PLANET! and LOVE IS ALL WE NEED! All of the pieces ended up being fantastic and the designs were incredible. All of our art really expresses Banksy’s style and it was a very fun day.
