This week’s blog!
Hi everyone,
This is Lucy and Sofia speaking,
On Monday, we did maths. In maths this week we did long division. It was quite hard but we didn’t give up. We also did DT- we planned our sewing banner as it was the last week of half term. In English we planned an explanation text on how animals adapt in their habitats.
Tuesday
On Tuesday we carried on our knowledge about long division. We started to understand it and were more confident. We started our first and second paragraph in English. In the afternoon, we did our last session on mini medics which helped us understand about our mental health and sadly said goodbye to Mr Aspinall.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, we started sewing on our DT work about saving our planet. In maths, we were learning about division while using factors. In English we carried on writing about animals’ habitats
Thursday
Today was our first day on Bikeability, learning on how to cycle safely on roads. In maths we learnt a new method on how to divide big numbers with no remainders. Also, we published our story and worked on our sewing.
Friday
We had our last Bikeability lesson and had a lovely cycle in the rain. Some of us did forest school and made animals out of clay since the weather was chucking it down. As we finished the sewing stage, we made our banner and pinned it together. Miss Mitton will very kindly sew it altogether for us so that it can then hang on our classroom wall. We’ll take a picture for you after half term.
