Reception W/B 8.6.15
Date: 14th Jun 2015 @ 7:05pm
This week in Reception...
we have been working as hard as ever, whilst still making time to enjoy the wonderful weather!
In Numeracy we have been learning how to make given amounts of money. We have worked hard to find different ways of making 10p and we used Numicon to help us to do this. Amazing work Reception!
In Literacy we have been using non-fiction books to find out about bears. We learnt lots of interesting facts – some of which we will be sharing with in during our class assembly. We wrote some wonderful sentences!
On that note don’t forget it is our class assembly on Friday 19th June, 3pm prompt. We will be practising hard next week to make it the very best it can be and I am sure the children will make you very proud!
During our Phonics sessions we have been looking at the different ways to make an ‘e’ sound – ea (tea) and ee (see).
We have also been practising for Sports Day. The Reception pupils will be taking part in a running race, an egg and spoon race and a relay race. Fingers crossed for good weather!
Don’t forget we have an Inset Day this Tuesday (16th June)!
Well done for another super week Reception!
