This week we have been…

Learning about ordering numbers.  We learnt that numbers beyond 9 comprise of 2 or more digits and we looked at the pattern.  This helped us to order those particularly tricky teen numbers. 

In Literacy we have been looking at the story of Sleeping Beauty.  We had lots of fun thinking up alternative ways to wake up Sleeping Beauty.  Things got rather noisy!  We have also been learning about writing invitations.

We may have only just entered October but this week we have also been designing Christmas cards!  These will be sent to be printed and you will be able to purchase packs next month.  We will let you know as soon as we receive them back.

On Tuesday we had a lovely time at St Oswald’s Church.  Check out the photos in our gallery.

It was wonderful to read the notes and share photos of last week’s homework activities.  Well done everyone!  This week the focus will be on Phonics.  Below are some games that will help your child to practise their skills.
