North West Sports Coaching Sports Festival

Today the children in Year 3 and 4 have participated in a sports festival at Sandbach Cricket Club. They competed in various sports against 6 schools which also included children from upper Key Stage 2. However they didn't let this deter them. Every one of the children did their very best and it all paid off when we came 4th in the cricket, 3rd in hockey, 3rd in the relay and 3rd overall! 

As always the childred demonstrated excellent sportsmanship supporting and encouraging each other at every opportunity. It was also lovely to have a member of staff from another school comment on how a child from Brereton had helped members of their cricket team, explaining the rules and showing them how to play. 

A huge well done to everyone that took part. We are incredibly proud of you all!
