Medicines and First Aid

First Aid supplies are kept in school and minor injuries dealt with by first aid trained staff.

In the case of more serious injuries every effort is made to get the child to hospital. If parents cannot be contacted a member of staff will stay with the child until parents arrive.

It is school policy that children must not bring tablets or medicines into school. If a child requires regular or
short-term medication that has been prescribed by a medical practitioner, it may be administered at school after the completion of a medication consent form below - copies can also be collected in the school office. All other non- prescribed medication must be administered at home.
