York Day 3

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Year 4 Year: 2015 - 2016

Good morning from another beautiful day in York. The sun is shining and the children have enjoyed another hearty breakfast this morning before our final walk into the city. Last night we had a movie night watching Minions and most children were fast asleep by 8:30pm.

Today we are learning about signs and symbols at York Minster. We've learnt about the stained glass windows and how it takes 200 years to take them down to clean them. After our tour we'll be heading back to the Racecourse Centre to have our lunch. We aim to be on the coach ready to leave by 1:30pm and be back at school at approximately 4pm. We will keep school updated if we expect this to change.

The children have been a delight to take away on residential. We were very impressed with the high standard of their rooms during room inspections so parents you can expect perfectly made beds from now on!
