Advanced ICT!

On Wednesday our Reception pupils entered the classroom to find out we had a very special visitor…Squeeky the Robot!

Steve showed us how algorithms (yes we learnt this word!) control Squeeky's movements.  We especially loved it when he danced for us!

We then used a program called ‘Daisy the Dinosaur’ and ‘Hopscotch’ to create our own algorithms.  These apps are free so why not download and try at home.

We had an amazing morning!
