Mrs Kirsty Arthur - Reading Recovery Teacher/SENCO
I have taught at Brereton for approximately seven years now, in between having three children. I am the Special Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and the Reading Recovery Teacher, leading ECAR (Every Child a Reader) across the school. My big passion in life is reading, whether with children at school, my own children or on my own. Outside school I enjoy spending time with my children and I am a bit of a gym fanatic!

I have worked at Brereton since October 2001. I manage the school’s finances to help support the teaching and learning of our fantastic pupils. I love working here!

Mr Tim Collier - Year Five Teacher/Assistant Headteacher
I have taught at Brereton since April 2001. I enjoy teaching Years 5 and 6 because the pupils here are keen to learn and they achieve high standards. I always look forward to Summer Show performances and especially taking Year 6 to Pensarn Harbour before Easter. The staff are a kind, hardworking and supportive team of colleagues and friends. I enjoy taking part in plays and musical theatre in and around Manchester.
I am currently trying to learn French at home - and in France. I did get an O level in it (a long time ago) although it's amazing what vocabulary you can remember when you are in a French ironmonger's with a non-English speaking Frenchman behind the counter.

Mrs Amanda Easton - Teaching Assistant
I began working at Brereton in 2012 providing one to one support. Since then I have trained to deliver individual reading programmes. I work with children throughout the school on reading. I also work with Key Stage Two teachers to provide phonics and guided reading sessions. I teach social stories and provide classroom support in Years Five and Six. When I am at home I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking and digging in the garden!

Miss Kerry Goff - Reception Teacher/ Foundation/Key Stage One Leader
I joined Brereton School in 2013 and I have the privilege of teaching our Reception Class. I enjoy seeing how our imaginative topics inspire the children and I particularly love our dress up days! The Christian ethos of the school makes Brereton a great place to work and it is lovely to see the older pupils caring for our Reception children. As Key Stage leader I take a keen interest in all of the children in our infant classes and I love planning activity days where we can all learn together.

My name is Mr McAulay and I am the year 1 class teacher. I love my job, as I like to inspire a love of learning for life. I enjoy teaching all areas of the curriculum, but particularly enjoy teaching English and PE. This year I am looking forward to the many sporting events that we have planned in my role as Sports coordinator, as I feel sport is a great way to foster teamwork and healthy competition.

Mrs Fiona Pullé - Year Two Teacher
My name is Mrs Pullé and I have enjoyed working at Brereton for over ten years, first as a supply teacher and now in Year 2 where work with Miss Wellings. I love education and really enjoy teaching in a school which embodies Christian values and celebrates how children grow emotionally and spiritually as well as academically. I am interested in the different ways children learn and endeavour to plan creatively using art, drama and storytelling wherever possible.

I am clerk to the Governors at Brereton Primary School. I take the minutes at governors meetings and distribute them where necessary.

I am proud to be the headteacher of Brereton C of E (A) Primary School. I have worked here since January 2005.The best thing about Brereton for me is the children and the staff: the people who make up our school community are wonderful! It is my job to make this school, and everyone in it, the best that it can be. Outside school I love spending time with my family, walking my two dogs, going to the theatre and listening to music.

I have been at Brereton since January 2014 and love being part of such a supportive team. I am the Year 3 teacher and also the Science coordinator. My favourite subjects are English, Art and History. Outside of school I have three children who keep me very busy and entertained!

Mrs Paula Taylor - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
I have worked at Brereton for many years. I work on a one to one basis, with groups or whole classes from Reception through to Year Six. I teach PSCHE, ICT, French and Music. I lead our amazing choir. Brereton is my second home and family. In my spare time (limited with three children!) I enjoy making and decorating celebration cakes.

After only a few months of working at Brereton, I have loved each and every moment getting to know all the children in the school particularly my class which are now in Year 2. I thoroughly enjoy teaching the children all subjects but have a passion for teaching art and design and exploring different media through these subjects.

I joined Brereton in September 2014 and enjoy working alongside such friendly staff. I also enjoy teaching Year Six as well as looking after all children in Key Stage 2. My favourite subjects are English and ICT. Outside school I have a 3 year old son who keeps me very busy!
