Spelling rules

This week we recapped on the use of apostrophes for possession and omission. E.g. can’t and Joe’s bag.

Maths and English

Our focus in Maths was on efficient method and involved a variety of different concepts such as money and measurement in grams.

In English, we wrote an adventure story where our main character found something of value; after this, a villain appeared. The children tried to create suspense in their stories using short sentences and words like ‘something’ and ‘someone.’  

Sports Day and Sports Activity Day

The children had a fantastic day on Thursday, taking part in a variety of sports such as rounders, netball and dance.
