I hope you all had a lovely Easter and made the most of the sunny days.

It has been lovely to see the children back in school and we have had a very busy first week back. Thanks to everyone who attended our stay and bake on Wednesday afternoon. Everyone had such fun and it was lovely to see such enthusiasm. Thanks again to Jane who put so much effort into organising everything.

I hope you enjoyed our class assembly on Friday. It brought an end to our slavery topic and it was great to see how much the children had learnt. We will now move on with our heroes topic. We will be thinking about what makes someone a hero.

Over the next week we will be completing our work on fractions and our maths assessments, beginning our new English unit based on the book ‘The Promise’ by Nicola Davies and planning our next class charity events.
