Another busy week!

Our Science experiments took a turn when we introduced tiny LEDs and several types of dough. Ask the children to explain why the sugar dough didn't work! Our investigations into circuits will continue next week...

This half term, we have begun learning about Hinduism. We have learnt about the Trimurti, the spirit of Brahman in three Gods. We have also looked at some of the many gods Hindus worship in different moments of their life. We also looked into the festival of Divali, hearing the tale of Sita and Rama. During Divali, not only are many candles lit but Hindus share sweets and I have included a simple recipe in the photos below.

Our Matilda rehearsals are confined to the classroom whilst the hall is used for Circus skills. Well done to the children for imagining the stage layout. Those with lines, please keep them rehearsing without the script to continue to build confidence.

And of course it was Sports Week. Year 6 had a fabulous time learning something called Danish Long Ball on Wednesday and then today have had sessions in a variety of sports. Whilst ejoying the Great British summer, we've also had great fun practising for Sports Day and cheering everyone on.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.IMG_6422.JPGIMG_6423.JPGIMG_6424.JPGIMG_6425.JPGIMG_6426.JPGIMG_6427.JPGIMG_6428.JPGIMG_6431.JPGIMG_6429.JPGIMG_6432.JPGIMG_6434.JPGIMG_6433.JPGIMG_6438.JPGIMG_6439.JPG
