Summer Term Topic ~ Bears!
This summer Brereton will be hosting its fantastic Bear Festival so we are using this as our focus for the summer term.
We are planning to start by looking at ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.’ We will also be finding out about different bears and compiling non-fiction reports.
If your child has a favourite book featuring a bear please do send it in and I will aim to incorporate it into our planning.
To support our work we will be visiting Trentham Gardens on Thursday 21st May. We will be building dens for our teddy bears and completing the ‘Barefoot Walk.’ Letters will be sent out next week.
