Summer Reading Challenge!

Why not try to complete our local libraries' Summer Reading Challenge over the holidays?  This year's children's summer reading challenge began on Saturday 4th July. The Record Breakers theme is based on Guinness World Records and all children aged 4-11 years are invited to explore some of the astonishing real-life achievements and world records during the holidays. Just visit the library four times over the summer and read six or more books to collect stickers and earn a medal and certificate! Sign up at your local library - it's free!

Plus, check your library's website and Facebook page for details of special children's events over the summer. They have lots of great activities planned to keep children visiting and reading.

For more information visit:

We hope you all participate and have fun doing so!  It is important to keep reading over the holidays and this is a wonderful incentive to do so.  You can also leave reviews and recommendations on our Wiki page.  Regular reading really does help your child to succeed.  We look forward to seeing many medals and certificates in September!
