Sport Relief 2016

Dear Parents

This year we are really excited to be raising money for Sport Relief 2016! As one of the UK's biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise money and change lives.

Due to our Easter service being on the same day as Sport Relief, at Brereton we will be getting involved with this worthwhile cause on Thursday 17th March 2016.

To do our bit and raise money, we will be coming to school dressed as a sporting hero (or you can just wear your school PE kit) and taking part in a sponsored mile. In addition to this, there will be a cake sale during break time organised by the Year 5 girls. We also have Sport Relief wrist bands in school which children can buy for £1 each.

We will also be using Sport Relief as a teaching opportunity so that the children can learn about the issues children across the world face, and how the money we raise can help them.

Your child will be bringing home a sponsor form this week. We really appreciate your support and hope that you'll help our school raise lots of money for Sport Relief!
