Reception end of summer 1

What another busy half term the children have just completed.

We have done so much learning. We have been writing stories about treasure, using our phonics to help spell and making sure our handwriting can be the best it can be. In Maths, we have been learning our number bonds to 10 and how to double. We have even learnt about some of the stars that you mind in space.

Towards the end of the term we were looking at and talking about paintings by Kandinksy. We have started recreating our own but the Jubilee festivities did take over and so, we will finish these after half term.

The children have loved learning about the queen. Using Google street maps, we were even able to take a trip around Windsor castle and Buckingham palace. Our dance was ace and the children have tried ever so hard with the singing we have learning this week.
