Pensarn Day Two

The weather this morning was not kind to us. We were all taking part in wet activities, Mr Collier’s group were open canoeing, Mr McAulay and his group were kayaking and Mrs Sant’s group were gorge walking all during a hail storm! To say we were a little chilly is an understatement. With the refuelling of our home made lunch the sun came out and the afternoon was a great improvement albeit a few degrees colder. A mix of wilderness skills, rock climbing and raft building this afternoon and a bit more of an opportunity for photographs. Toad in the hole with mash, peas, ice cream for pudding and some delicious cake to celebrate Scarlett’s 11th birthday.
