Gruffalo Crumble Recipe

Ingredients

4 bananas

2 cups berries

15 digestive biscuits

150g butter

140g brown sugar

Cinnamon

Equipment

Mixing bowl

Mixing spoon

Knife (child friendly!)

Casserole dish

Small bowl

Scales

 

 

  1. Preheat oven to 180c
  2. Wash hands
  3. Check we have all ingredients and equipment
  4. Peel and chop bananas and add to casserole dish
  5. Crush biscuits in a bag with rolling pin and add to the mixing bowl
  6. Scoop out berries with a spoon and add to casserole dish
  7. Measure 140g Brown sugar and add to the mixing bowl
  8. Melt 140g butter in a bowl and add to the mixing bowl with the biscuits and sugar
  9. Sprinkle cinnamon over the crushed biscuits, sugar and butter in the mixing bowl
  10. Mix with a big mixing spoon
  11. Pour the biscuit mix on top of the fruit in the casserole dish
  12. Put into the oven! (use oven gloves!) and cook for 25 minutes
