Baking in year 6

Today, year 6 have been baking from wartime ration recipes. They have been making bread and prune pudding following the example of Mr Stanway's effort from the weekend.

After tasting their creations at the start of the afternoon the reaction seemed to be mixed, maybe it was the extra sugar that one group in particular added. 

Moving to the afternoon and more culinary delights with Mrs Taylors peppermint cream's. The outcome has shown varying degrees of success. Some are buried beneath chocolate whilst others show a more delicate touch with extra care taken over the finish.

It woul be great to see your homemade creations from the coming week and christmas holidays.
